'Models required' - cutting hair at Gabriel Fine Arts gallery

'Models required' happened as part of the opening event of Chapter 14: philosophy of the elephant held at Gabriel Fine Arts gallery near Waterloo. It provoked a lot of conversations around the idea of identity - how do we feel when we have our hair cut? How does it affect our identity? How do we feel about being subjected to a hair cut in the unusual environment of the gallery? What trust do we place in the identity and ability of the hairdresser? Are we bothered at all or are we highly sensitive to who we allow to make the approach with a pair of scissors?

It was quite an experience for me and something I'd like to explore further.
