 This, I tell you, is the end
From 10am on Saturday 16th April, the Copper Horse, Windsor Great Park A performative work beneath the 'Copper Horse'. An enormous statue of 'mad' King George III on horseback, depicted as a Roman Emperor, the 'Copper Horse' is situated at the end of the Long Walk that extends nearly 3 miles from the gates of Windsor Castle. 'This, I tell you is the end' explores the ambiguity of a statement. How does an individual viewer interpret the meaning of language? Is the meaning derived from context, location, from personal experience, or from other associations? Is it the drama of suicide or the end of the world, a literal statement to walkers or something else?

 PoetryFilm Paradox was twice screened in Iceland. Most recently at Mengi in Reykjavik. In London the event was part of the BFI Love season - and PoetryFilm is featured in the highlights video with footage from the Groucho Club screening.
