Sadly couldn't attend LightUp Poole in person, but luckily an old friend (thank you Martin!) stepped up and was able to take his boys for an evening wander around and find the film poetry showing in Kingland Crescent for me. My work 'Blue Flash Flash' came 4th in the Poole film poetry competition and was projected here.
Martin is a town planner by profession and so apart from being amazed and delighted by my work (of course) he was naturally very observant of the street scene. It was great to hear that the town was much busier than usual at that time in early evening - so plenty of people had turned up or stayed around longer to see the light art and digital installations. It sounded like a great event that was well attended. Thank you to all the organisers who put it together.
