aPanopticon
2015
The aPanopticon is an experimental electromechanical sculpture created by Graham Asker. It is an artwork whose function is that of a miniature art gallery. Artists can curate an exhibition of work within it. The aPanopticon provides for an annular arrangement of artworks that are observed by an HD video camera mounted on a central column within. The viewer explores the exhibition by manipulating a joystick, and seeing the resulting projected image.
I curated my work within the aPanopticon as part of the Anti-Gallery Gallery Show at the Espacio Gallery.
