Crossbreed: you should have called me Alison
2015. Collaborative installation with Louise Anderson including: screenprints on tissue and organza, digital prints, metal plates, laser-cut perspex, plaster, video projection, carpet and straw.
Are we hybrid beings? Are we peripatetic? We switch on and we switch off. Are we creating a crossbreed or do we intercross? Are we interchanging ourselves, our output or both? A conversation in memory and escapist fantasy. The outcome of which is a show of work at our crossing points, and where we find reflections in each other – a collaborative piece.
Exhibited at the Stanley Picker Gallery, Kingston upon Thames.
Film shown at DIY Cultures, Rich Mix, Shoreditch, London.
